During development of an Android App, the developer has to persist some java class in different ways.
Kripton is a java library that was build with the aim to provide a simple and uniform way to manage persistence of Java classes in different flavours.
This flavours are:
- xml format
- json format
- Shared preference
- SQLite database
To avoid boilerplate-code, i decide to use the power of annotatio processor.
In this wiki you will find necessary information to understand how to use Kripton.
Kripton was build to:
- Have a simple method to convert Java POJO in XML and JSON format and viceversa with shared rules based on java annotations.
- Build smallest footprint binder library for Android and generic Java environment.
- Have a library without dependencies except platform default libraries (android and jdk libs).
- Have good performance in POJO conversion.
There are two platform: the android environment and generic Java environment. For each platform there is a version of library. Android platform already include a json library and xml parser library. Java JDK does not include a json library and have different xml parser libraries.
