— Improved loading performance for large maps, especially on HDDs.
— Added a map file cache that combines many small files into a single package, speeding up subsequent loads. The cache can be rebuilt when the source files change.
— Reduced microstutters at the end of a turn. Province borders and army display data are no longer refreshed across the entire map in one large pass. Required data is updated before rendering, while the remaining updates are spread across frames.
— Adjusted background turn-processing priorities to reduce their impact on map movement and responsiveness.
— Eliminated unnecessary exceptions when accessing building attributes.
— Added an improved ally-selection algorithm. The AI considers shared threats, proximity, diplomatic relations, and a candidate’s usefulness to the alliance rather than relying only on national strength.
— Ally selection also takes distance, compatibility with existing members, and the risk of drawing the alliance into unrelated wars into account.
— The AI can send multiple invitations during a single selection cycle—up to three by default—when suitable candidates, alliance slots, and diplomatic points are available.
— Added Smart alliance invitations: On / Off to the pre-game settings. Disabling the improved algorithm restores the mod’s previous invitation logic.
— Added AI support: On / Off and Support frequency: Normal / Frequent to the pre-game settings.
— When AI support is disabled, the frequency setting remains visible but becomes greyed out and unavailable. The selected frequency is remembered and restored when support is enabled again.
— Translated the AI support controls in the mod menu into English and separated them into an On/Off switch and a frequency selector. The new pre-game controls now match the style of the surrounding settings.
— Smart alliance invitations, AI support, and support frequency are now stored separately for each campaign. Changes made through the mod menu affect the current campaign and are recorded when the game is saved.
— Added compatibility with older saves. Saves without the new parameters use the current pre-game defaults; after being saved again, they retain their own settings.
— Added optional performance diagnostics to help identify the causes of stutters. Disabling diagnostics does not disable any optimizations or AI features.

A new AI War Support system has been added.
Allied AI nations can now provide financial support to the player during wartime.
The AI analyzes the military situation and assesses how much the player is outmatched by the enemy.
Relations between nations are taken into account when making this decision—assistance primarily comes from nations that have good relations with the player.
Support is triggered when the player is at war and facing serious difficulties.
The amount of financial aid can now range from 5,000 to 20,000 gold, depending on the situation.
The system operates fully automatically—the player does not need to ask the AI for help themselves.
The ability to track foreign support has been added. You can now see which country has sent support to another country. If another country is supporting a nation you don’t like, you can either send an insult to the sending country or ignore the incident.
In the mod menu, a setting has been added to configure AI assistance; you can set it to “off,” “normal,” or “frequent.”
