Install current LLGo releases and source revisions across Linux, macOS and Windows.
- Select exact versions, version prefixes, SemVer ranges, glob patterns, branches, tags, full commit SHAs or unambiguous abbreviated SHAs. Version files are supported, including
// llgodirectives ingo.modandgo.work. - Prefer matching precompiled release archives and verify SHA-256 checksums. Fall back to source when a release or asset is unavailable, or explicitly select
releaseorsourceinstallation. - Support native amd64 and arm64 hosts, including both MSVC and MinGW on Windows. Configure Go and LLVM versions; defaults are Go 1.27 and LLVM 22.
- Install into isolated temporary directories, export the resolved revision and installation method, and cache source dependencies and build outputs.
- Bound download timeouts, validate redirects and retry transient network failures.
Requirements: Node.js 20 or newer. CI validates Node.js 20 and 24 on Linux, macOS and Windows.
The 27-job validation matrix passes, including release and source installation on all eight OS/architecture/ABI combinations, selector checks, and 60 tests per Node.js/OS combination. Every native installation runs llgo test and a compiled executable.
