Release v1.3.37

v1.3.37 makes the dashboard fit tablets and small laptops and shows network speeds in readable units. Existing clients and databases stay compatible; agents do not need an update (they report 1.3.34).

Highlights

  • Web (tablets and small laptops): from 768 to 1279 px the table ran past the card behind a hidden scrollbar (at 1024 px the OS column was cut, at 768 px everything after memory). Now 1024–1279 px keep all eight columns with slightly narrower bars, 900–1023 px leave out location and OS, and 768–899 px also the uptime. Phones in landscape (640–767 px) get the cards that portrait phones already had. From 1280 px and on portrait phones the layout is unchanged.
  • Web: the table's network column shows the speed in automatic units (B/s, KB/s, MB/s, GB/s), like the expanded details, instead of a fixed MB/s with two decimals that read 0.00 MB/s for most servers.
  • Web: the Chinese subtitle reads 实时更新，点击服务查看详细信息。
  • Admin: a server that reports its traffic totals before its first address gets its address column in the right place at once; it used to appear after the traffic until the page was reloaded.

Compatibility

  • Existing clients continue to work; no wire format changed.
  • Existing metrics.db files remain readable.

Verified

  • Chromium, Firefox and WebKit from 320 to 1920 px, light and dark, Chinese and English, with a 126-server data set: no sideways scrolling, no bar running into the next column, header and rows aligned at every width; below 640 px and from 1280 px every header and row cell has the same position and size as in v1.3.36. The cards at 640–767 px keep their labels through live updates and language and theme switches, and the expanded chart fits. Stored-XSS runs at 390, 700, 768 and 1024 px; admin add, edit, copy and delete flows. The server code is unchanged from v1.3.34.
