Community announcement v1.2.0

Choose a tag to compare

@xhqing xhqing released this 02 Oct 03:07

Changed

  • Group renamed: "AI+X 实战交流群" → "AI+X 实战经验交流群" — "实战" (hands-on practice) is what each member does on their own; the group cannot supply it. What the group can supply is the experience others distilled from having actually done it, so "经验" (experience) makes the name's promise more accurate. "实战" works as the filter — actually done it, as opposed to armchair talk or second-hand retelling — while "经验" is the content: what was built and what was learned the hard way. Version bumped v1.1.0 → v1.2.0 (a structural change in name and theme, so a minor bump per the announcement's own versioning convention); release date updated to 2026-10-02. Why: AI news and tutorials are everywhere online, but second-hand, marketing-driven or simply restated — experience from peers who did the work and hit the pitfalls is what cannot be found online, so "hands-on experience" puts that difference into the name and steps out of the crowded news/tutorial lane.

  • Group theme reworded to match — the [Group Theme] section now reads "hands-on AI experience exchange" instead of "hands-on AI practice": how AI applies to your industry, what it actually delivers, and the pitfalls along the way are what the group talks about. New models and tools are still shared first-hand, but the focus stays on putting them to work. The permissive wording is kept ("share what works for your industry, ask what you want to know, quiet lurking is fully welcome").

  • Name now settled — this is the final naming decision (2026-10-02). Once the group is recruiting and this release is out, any further change to the name follows the spirit of the announcement's revision procedure (7-day public notice).

Community announcement v1.1.0

@xhqing xhqing released this 01 Oct 13:12

Changed

  • Group renamed from "AI前沿资讯交流群" to "AI+X 实战交流群": The group name now carries the hands-on positioning directly — "AI+X", where X is your industry. Version bumped v1.0.3 → v1.1.0 (a structural change in name and theme, so a minor bump per the announcement's own versioning convention); release date updated to 2026-10-01. Why: "frontier news" alone read as dispensable — with AI news everywhere, it is not a reason to join; hands-on practice is. The "X" also leaves room for a multi-group matrix split by industry later on.

  • Group theme rewritten around hands-on practice: The [Group Theme] section now explains that X is your industry — how AI applies to it, what it actually delivers, and the pitfalls along the way are what the group talks about. New models and tools are still shared first-hand, but the focus stays on putting them to work. The permissive wording is kept ("share what works for your industry, ask what you want to know, quiet lurking is fully welcome").

Community announcement v1.0.2

Choose a tag to compare

@xhqing xhqing released this 29 Aug 08:28

Changed

  • Removed the team-repo tour invitation: In the [Operations Team] section, the sentence "the owner's AI agent team members are all public at github.com/xhqing/ — feel free to visit anytime" has been removed. Version bumped v1.0.1 → v1.0.2, release date updated to 2026-08-29. Why: the owner has decided the announcement body should focus on the community's own positioning and governance information, and no longer carry the role of driving traffic to the team repos — the traffic-driving wording did not fit the "fair governance" tone of the announcement body.

  • List format switched to bullet markers (retroactive sync of this release): The three lists ([Group Rules], [Rules Revision Procedure], [Governance Philosophy]) have been changed from numbered items (1. 2. 3.) to bullet markers (•), matching the layout the owner actually used when publishing the announcement to the WeChat group. No wording changes; the version stays v1.0.2 and the release date stays 2026-08-29. Why: the owner issued the finalized layout and asked to keep the current version number.

Community announcement v1.0.1

@xhqing xhqing released this 29 Aug 05:25

Community announcement v1.0.1

Changed

  • Wording fix for the commitment-layer reference: In the [Governance Philosophy] section, item 3, "the plan is public (see the team repo)" has been changed to "the plan is public (link at the end)". Version bumped v1.0.0 → v1.0.1, release date updated to 2026-08-28. Why: "team repo" was a vague pointer — the announcement body does not yet mention the "team" concept at that point (the [Operations Team] section comes later), and even following github.com/xhqing/ at the end would require an extra hop from the personal profile to locate the plan document (it actually lives in this repo at docs/community/commitment-layer.md). The new wording reuses the existing "(link at the end)" convention from line 19, pointing directly to this repo's Releases address at the end of the announcement. This is a purely cosmetic adjustment and does not touch the [Group Rules] clauses, so per the revision procedure it does not trigger the 7-day notice period.
