Harness Courier 0.1.0 (Preview)

What it does

• Sends tasks from Codex to a specific, bound Kimi Code or ZCode desktop chat on Windows.
• Pins each message to a real session ID and binding revision, and stores messages and receipts in a local SQLite mailbox.
• Uses receiver Hooks to fetch messages, and MCP tools to acknowledge them and return success or failure results.
• Checks the target session, drafts, attachments, busy state and submission journal before CDP delivery.
• Supports the new courier_* tools and the original bridge_* aliases, Python imports and environment variables.
• Includes optional Cua background-control policy and helpers, plus controller, receiver and task-card prompt templates.

Downloads and setup

For the complete integration, download harness-courier-0.1.0-preview.zip. Follow the README to create a Python 3.11+ environment, set actual application paths in apps.toml, and preview the MCP/Hook installation plan.

The wheel includes the Python service, Hooks and required resources; it does not include CMD launchers or the Cua integration directory. Dependencies are installed separately by pip. The package has not been published to PyPI.

Use SHA256SUMS.txt to verify the three distribution files. The source ZIP also includes a per-file release-manifest.json for its original bytes; Git checkout line endings may differ.

Current English and Chinese introductions are available on the main branch. This documentation update leaves the original preview tag and download assets intact.

Verification and limitations

Windows CI passed on Python 3.11 and 3.13: Ruff, 104 regression tests and wheel/sdist builds. View the release commit's CI run.

Isolated headless fixtures cover session, draft, attachment and busy-state guards; cursor and foreground state remained unchanged in the samples. Cua WPF fixture source was compiled, which does not establish background input support for arbitrary applications.

The published copy still needs real Kimi/ZCode roundtrip, Cua input, desktop reload and automatic-approval verification in target environments. Senders query results by message ID; there is no complete concurrent multi-project queue or scheduler that automatically wakes the original Codex chat.

Messages, runtime databases, private configuration, credentials, logs, historical backups and third-party binaries are excluded from the distribution.

wheel 和 sdist 也提供在附件中；wheel 仅包含 Python 服务、Hook 和必要资源，不包含 CMD 启动器或 Cua 集成目录。依赖由 pip 另行安装。尚未发布到 PyPI。

SHA256SUMS.txt 可核对附件完整性。源码 ZIP 内含逐文件 release-manifest.json；它记录 ZIP 原始字节的哈希，Git 检出的换行符可能不同。

验证与限制

• 本地 104 项回归、Ruff、隔离 wheel/sdist 构建和安装验证。
• 隔离 headless 浏览器夹具覆盖会话、草稿、附件和忙碌保护，鼠标/前台窗口在采样期间保持不变。
• Cua WPF 测试源码已编译；这不证明任意应用都支持后台输入。

这份公开版尚未复验真实 Kimi/ZCode 往返、实际 Cua 输入、桌面重启后的加载和宿主自动审批行为。回执保存在消息记录中，由发送方查询；尚无完整多项目并发队列或自动唤醒原 Codex 聊天的调度器。

运行数据库、真实消息、用户配置、凭据、日志、历史备份和第三方二进制不在分发包内。
