Codex Desk v1.0.1

The first cross-platform release of Codex Desk. Keep track of your Codex CLI quota and manage local sessions more easily.

Highlights

  • Local Codex CLI diagnostics: check the CLI, app-server, and quota access.
  • Quota alerts: receive alerts at 80%, 90%, and 100% usage after enabling notifications.
  • Quick session resume: copy codex resume <session ID> from session details.

Before you start

Install and sign in to Codex CLI:

npm install -g @openai/codex
codex

### macOS note

The current macOS packages are not yet Apple-signed or notarized. Only if you downloaded the package from this project's Releases page, Control-click Codex Desk in Applications, choose
Open, then confirm once more if macOS blocks it.

### Privacy

Codex Desk obtains quota and session data only through the local codex app-server --stdio process. It does not upload data to third-party services, and does not read or store auth.json.
