Minco 1.8.0 is an additive lock-step minor release of all 34 public crates.
Highlights:
- Adds an opt-in authenticated object-transfer HTTP control plane for direct browser and mobile single/multipart upload, immutable conditional update, private full/range download, abort, and authorized conditional cache metadata.
- Adds provider-neutral bounded streaming, strong-validator resume, quarantined completion, application-selected inspection verdicts, and a production-targeted private S3 byte plane.
- Adds structural transfer-cost projection for storage, incomplete parts, requests, egress, acceleration, and optional edge dimensions without embedding changing provider prices.
- Hardens the 10,000-part completion boundary, provider ETag validation, RFC weak If-None-Match handling, response validators, and persisted pending-upload state before provider contact.
Compatibility and evidence:
- Existing buffering storage and signed single-upload APIs remain compatible; transfer services are additive, and a non-S3 ObjectStore alone does not claim resumable HTTP.

- A fresh public

- No AWS resource was created, no application was deployed, and no production mutation was performed by this release.
