Blackjack's main way to bet did not work at all in 1.0.2. If you are running it, update.
Fixed
Chips could not be placed on a Blackjack table. Seated players were put in adventure mode,
which cannot place blocks, so dropping chips into the betting box did nothing and the minimum-bet
button was the only way to wager. Hold'em always used survival and was unaffected. Arena blocks stay
protected either way — the break guard keys off the seat, not the gamemode.
Placed chips vanished. The Blackjack arena painted the betting pad but never rendered what was
on it. Each seat's pending bet now sits on its own pad as real chips, merged to the largest
denominations exactly like Hold'em. They are not pooled to the middle: in Blackjack every wager is
between that player and the dealer.
The 1 and 5 chips were pushed out of the hotbar. Five tool items plus six denominations need
eleven slots and there are nine, so the two you reach for most to make change ended up in the
backpack. Only the minimum-bet and confirm items stay in hand now; reclaim, hit, stand and the rest
were already on the physical buttons beside each seat.
English button captions overlapped into an unreadable smear. The buttons sit one block apart and
Confirm Bet / Check is nineteen characters wide. Chinese fit at two glyphs, which is why it went
unnoticed. Captions are short now and scaled the way Blackjack already scaled its own.
The menu title read CasinoTables Casino Tables in English, because the template appended those
words to the brand name.
Vanilla tooltips leaked into item lore in the client's own language — most visibly the firework
rocket's flight duration on the Ludo menu entry, which showed up in Chinese on a Chinese client.
Changed
Cards now take a moment to arrive: three seconds for a hit or a double, five for each card the
dealer draws, each landing with a lightning strike in the same tick as the card. Turning the hole
card over strikes too. Seat actions lock while a card is in the air — standing during the pause used
to hand the turn on and deal the card into the wrong hand.
Blackjack gained the on-screen phase prompt and countdown Hold'em already had: place your bet, your
turn, the dealer is playing. The chat log alone was easy to miss while looking at your cards.
Note for existing installs
Language files in plugins/CasinoTables/lang/ take priority over the copies inside the jar, so that
your own wording survives updates. That also means the reworded button captions will not appear
until you delete those files and let them regenerate. If you have not edited them, deleting is
safe. Untouched keys always fall back to the jar, so nothing breaks either way.
