Hebnix for Linux 2.2.4, based on Hebnix for Windows 2.2.4.

New from Hebnix for Windows 2.2.4

  • Backend for car colour patching (custom designs), decal patching fixes, fix for deleting local ball patches, notification fixes.
  • Account and PsyNet proxies now run as a pair; saving or uploading replays needs Spoofer turned on.

New from Hebnix for Windows 2.2.3

  • Replays tab (replaces Experimental): save replays locally and/or upload them to ballchasing.com, with upload history and a replay save folder setting.
  • Main menu map changer in Workshop, Workshop banner images.
  • Items tab: Speed Patch, Wheel Alignment and Ball Appearance; the car patcher moved under Patchers. Decal patcher UI upgrades, painted swaps, cosmetic thumbnails and fixes for crashes from item swaps.
  • Spoofer: the proxy now follows Rocket League. It starts when the game opens and stops (removing its hosts redirects) when it closes. Removing the certificate turns proxy features off.
  • Notifications from Hebnix appear as a popup.
  • Plugins: hebnix.rlapi.enabled / hebnix.rlapi.matchhistory() and hebnix.crypto_sha256_base64. The old EOS token and rlapi_request_async functions are gone, see docs/rlapi-plugin-api.md.

Linux

  • Fewer password prompts. The packages set the network permissions on install and upgrade, so Grant Permission is no longer needed. They also ship a polkit rule that lets the logged-in user change Hebnix's own two hosts redirects without a password. Installing the certificate still asks once.
  • Restart after Grant Permission now actually restarts Hebnix instead of just closing it.
  • Saves and logs are found in the right Wine prefix, even when the game is installed outside it (Heroic, a games drive) or several prefixes exist. New setting: Settings > Directories > Rocket League Documents.
  • Store installs: installing from Hebnix's own store no longer fails with "Item ID … was not found in the Hebnix catalog".
  • Overlay font: pick any font from the fonts folder for plugin overlays and toasts, with regular and bold weights for variable fonts. Scrolling text in overlays now stays in its box and fades at the edges.
  • hebnix.ws_send works for plugin websockets again (hebnix.stats_send sends raw StatsAPI commands).
  • A missing /etc/hosts no longer breaks the spoofer.
