wisp-science v1.11.0

A trace for every day of discovery.

v1.11.0 brings your research back onto a timeline: review activity across projects in the home calendar, revisit a project's daily history, trace exact output versions to their runs and inputs, and record findings and next steps. A dedicated Publication workspace helps organize selected evidence around a manuscript.

Downloads

  • macOS (.dmg, signed + notarized): Apple Silicon (aarch64) and Intel (x86_64); compatible versions can update in-app.
  • Windows (MSI / NSIS): installers remain unsigned while SignPath release signing is disabled.
  • Linux (deb / AppImage): x86_64 and aarch64.

Installers are attached to Assets as the platform builds finish.

Highlights

Research Calendar and Daily Journey

  • Open Research calendar from the Projects home to review recorded mainline activity across visible projects. Filter by project, browse months, and open a project's Research Journey at a selected date. Privacy-hidden projects and unadopted exploration records are excluded from this overview.
  • Research journey in the project sidebar groups conversations, runs, registered outputs, papers, data assets, decisions, and manual notes by local date. Browse a month or day and search the loaded range; incomplete reads are explicitly marked.
  • Historical output cards open the exact registered version and show its producing run and registered inputs when available. Run details include status, execution context, command, and log tails.
  • Add progress, findings, decisions, or next steps, including backdated entries with a separate recording time. Notes participate in project transfer and exploration checkpoints and adoption.
  • Calendar and journey layouts adapt to wide and narrow windows. Busy days support grouped records and incremental expansion; title bars, scrolling, and returning to Projects behave consistently.

The calendar reflects recorded work. It does not schedule future tasks or generate scientific conclusions; source completeness depends on registered inputs, runs, and outputs.

Publication Evidence Workspace

  • Publication opens a dedicated project page with a manuscript outline, evidence, finalization checks, and version history. Wider windows provide more room for evidence cards and source selection.
  • Add evidence through searchable project result, run, and conversation pickers. File selections bind exact versions; conversation selections can retain a specific passage. Record purpose and selection rationale alongside the evidence.
  • Inspect a draft with Check this revision, then explicitly Confirm and lock evidence after a successful check. Inspection leaves the revision editable; evidence or policy changes require a new check before locking.
  • Historical revisions open their stored evidence. Clone a revision to continue editing while retaining its parent's history.

Everyday Research Reliability

  • Start exploration branches from historical assistant responses, preserving the selected conversation boundary.
  • Paste files copied in Windows Explorer or macOS Finder into chat as removable file-path context cards. Repeated paths are deduplicated; referencing a path does not copy or upload the file contents.
  • Opening a workspace offers its existing project identities. SSH transfers show an indeterminate state when total size is unknown, and the transfer tray can collapse.
  • Improve large-window conversation layout, the compact outline navigator, and source-editor caret alignment. Correct Inspector Escape ordering and release media Blob URLs during long sessions.
  • Keep WebView recovery scoped to the affected window and isolate Windows MCP Apps in child WebViews. Improve macOS process-group shutdown and prevent artifact snapshots from following source symlinks.
  • Configure a custom User-Agent per model API entry when needed. The bundled models.dev catalog is refreshed for model limits, capabilities, and pricing metadata.

  • New Research Journey tutorial with separate Chinese and English interface screenshots: calendar → daily history → output sources → research notes → manuscript evidence.
  • Expanded tutorial directory, illustrated quick start, and Skills catalog, with bilingual configuration and workflow guides.

v1.11.0 将研究工作放回时间线：从首页日历回顾多个项目的活动，在项目中查看每日历程，沿着准确产物版本追溯运行和输入，再补充发现与下一步。独立的论文证据工作区，让选中的成果可以围绕论文组织起来。

重点功能

研究日历与每日历程

  • 从项目首页打开研究日历，按日期回顾可见项目已记录的主线活动。支持项目筛选、月份切换，并直接进入某个项目所选日期的研究历程。隐私模式隐藏的项目和未采用的探索分支私有记录不进入汇总。
  • 项目侧栏的研究历程按本地日期组织会话、运行、已登记产物、文献、数据资产、决策与人工记录。可查看整月或某一天、搜索已加载范围；读取不完整时会明确提示。
  • 历史产物卡片打开准确的登记版本，并在已有来源记录时展示生成运行和输入。运行详情包含状态、执行环境、命令与日志尾部。
  • 可补充进展、发现、决策或待继续事项，历史补记分别保存研究日期与实际记录时间。人工记录纳入项目导入导出、探索检查点及分支采用流程。
  • 日历与历程适配宽屏和窄窗口；繁忙日期支持记录分组及逐批展开，并改进标题栏、滚动和返回项目首页的行为。

日历展示已经记录的工作，不用于未来任务排期，也不自动生成科学结论；来源完整程度取决于已登记的输入、运行与产物。

论文证据工作区

  • 论文证据打开独立项目页面，组织论文大纲、证据、定稿检查和版本历史。宽屏可展示更多证据卡片，并扩大来源选择空间。
  • 通过可搜索的项目结果、运行和对话列表添加证据。文件绑定准确版本，对话可选取具体原文片段；证据旁保留用途及选择理由。
  • 先检查本版证据，通过后再明确确认定稿并锁定证据。检查后草稿仍可编辑；证据或策略发生变化，需要重新检查才能锁定。
  • 历史修订展示实际保存的证据；通过克隆修订继续编辑，保留原版本历史。

日常研究体验与可靠性

  • 支持从历史助手回复创建探索分支，保留所选对话边界。
  • 将 Windows 资源管理器或 macOS Finder 中复制的文件粘贴到聊天框，生成可移除的文件路径卡片；重复路径会去重，引用路径本身不会复制或上传文件内容。
  • 打开工作目录时可选择已有项目身份；SSH 传输总大小未知时显示不定进度，传输托盘支持折叠。
  • 改进宽屏对话布局、紧凑大纲导航和源码编辑器光标对齐；修复 Inspector 的 Escape 关闭顺序，并释放长时间会话中的媒体 Blob URL。
  • WebView 恢复限定于受影响窗口；Windows MCP App 使用独立子 WebView。改进 macOS 进程组退出，并防止产物快照跟随源文件符号链接。
  • 模型 API 配置支持自定义 User-Agent；刷新内置 models.dev 目录，更新模型限制、能力与价格元数据。

  • 新增研究历程教程，分别配有中文和英文界面截图：研究日历 → 每日历程 → 产物来源 → 研究记录 → 论文证据。
