First public release 🎉

A browser side-panel AI assistant that works with your own LLM API key — summarize/translate any page, clip selections into tasks & notes, and auto-sync with the TomiLite desktop app. Your data never leaves your machine.

  • 🌐 Translate with target-language picker — choose from 8 languages before translating
  • 📋 Tasks / 📝 Notes — right-click clipping from any page; rich Markdown editor (tables, code highlighting, images); completed tasks become read-only; delete/save with confirm states
  • 🔄 Desktop sync — two-way sync with the TomiLite desktop app (localhost:3192)

📦 Install (developer mode — store release planned)

  1. Download tomilite-browser-v0.1.0.zip
  2. Unzip → chrome://extensions (or edge://extensions) → enable Developer mode → Load unpacked → select the folder
  3. Open the side panel → Settings → enter your LLM API key

⚠️ Chrome disables unpacked extensions when developer mode is off. A Chrome/Edge Web Store release with auto-updates is planned.

🔐 Privacy

  • API key, tasks, notes and chat history stored only in your browser, encrypted at rest
  • API key sent only to the model provider you configure
  • Ads are not based on your browsing history; affiliate links labeled "Sponsored"
  • No account, no telemetry, no relay server
