v1.0.6: Mobile Touch Scrolling, Font Engine, and Layout Fixes

Overview

This release adds a dedicated typography preset selector, an interactive text-wrapping toggle for long headings, and resolves mobile touch scrolling and icon scaling issues in sandboxed WebViews.

• Typography & Font Preset Selector (Aa):
  Added a font switcher in the top toolbar to easily toggle between typography presets:

  • Auto (Script Aware): Automatically detects note script (Persian/Arabic, Hebrew, Chinese, Japanese, Devanagari, Latin) and applies matching system typography.
  • Manual Presets: Fast toggling for Inter, Roboto, Vazirmatn / Naskh, Lora (Book Serif), JetBrains Mono (Code), and OS System Default.
  • Preferences persist across restarts via local storage.

• Multiline Text-Wrap Toggle:
  Long headings no longer get permanently cut off with ellipsis on small screens. A new header icon allows toggling between single-line compact view and natural multiline wrapping, with chevrons pinned cleanly to the first line.

🐛 Bug Fixes & Improvements

• Fixed Mobile Touch Scrolling:
  Resolved an issue on Android and iOS where the outline panel could not be scrolled vertically. Updated flex container constraints (min-height: 0) and enabled touch panning (touch-action: pan-y; -webkit-overflow-scrolling: touch).

• CSP-Compliant Stylesheet (Eliminated Icon Disruption):
  Removed remote @import rules that were blocked by Joplin's Content Security Policy. This prevents stylesheet dropouts and hardcodes SVG chevron dimensions to 12×12 pixels so icons never render oversized.

• Offline-Safe System Font Fallbacks:
  Persian and Arabic text on mobile now cascades to native high-legibility engines (Noto Naskh Arabic on Android, Geeza Pro on iOS/macOS, Segoe UI Arabic on Windows) without relying on blocked external CDN downloads.

• Refined Viewer Navigation:
  Isolated scrollToHash execution so background editor commands do not cancel smooth-scroll animations when reading rendered Markdown notes.

• Safe HTML Entity Escaping:
  Headings containing angle brackets or code tags (e.g., <Component>) now render safely in search highlights without breaking DOM layout.

📦 Installation

• In-App: Once indexed by the Joplin plugin directory, update directly via Tools > Options > Plugins.
• Manual: Download the attached com.xyasharx.treeoutline.jpl file below, open Joplin, go to Tools > Options > Plugins > ⚙ > Install from file, and restart the app.
