UCP v2026-08-25 conformance package

v0.3.0 turns the corpus-validated policy shape into an executable reference package.

Added

  • forward-compatible open outcome, trigger, reference-point and payout vocabularies
  • reference evaluator for deterministic time-tiered cancellation outcomes
  • seven reusable evaluation test vectors
  • Catalog, Cart, Checkout and Order policy-placement fixtures
  • automated JSON Schema validation and evaluator tests
  • precise UCP v2026-08-25 compatibility and standardization-status documentation

Status

io.github.yairsabag.policy.cancellation remains an independent third-party policy type built on stable UCP policies[]. It is not yet a UCP-authored dev.ucp.* shared type.

UCP v2026-08-25 compatibility

  • Pins the extension to the first stable UCP release that ships the policies[] primitive.
  • Documents the public design and corpus-validation provenance from UCP PR #572.
  • Clarifies that io.github.yairsabag.policy.cancellation is an independent vendor-namespaced extension, not an adopted UCP shared policy type.
  • Validates complete UCP policy entries against the UCP base envelope plus the cancellation fields.
  • Completes valid citation metadata and canonical Apache-2.0 license detection.

The cancellation model is unchanged from v0.2.
