OKVideoMac 0.3.41

OKVideoMac 0.3.41 is the project's first public release: a native macOS client for configurable video providers and live streams, with a SwiftUI interface and libmpv-based playback.

Build 64 fixes the first-Live render-surface startup race. Playback now waits for an event-driven render-surface-ready handshake instead of issuing the initial loadfile before the OpenGL drawable is usable. It also corrects the old first-swap instrumentation so a buffer swap is no longer reported as a valid first video frame.

Highlights

  • Native macOS navigation, search, history, favorites, and playback UI
  • Configurable on-demand providers and M3U, M3U8, TXT, or JSON live-source lists
  • libmpv playback for on-demand video and live streams
  • Event-driven first-Live render-surface readiness handshake
  • Partial QuickJS compatibility
  • Experimental Node compatibility
  • Optional Android Bridge compatibility for selected Java/Dex csp_ providers

Provider compatibility depends on the provider implementation; the release does not claim universal provider support.

Requirements

  • macOS 12 or later
  • Apple Silicon (arm64)

Android is not required for ordinary native, QuickJS, Node, or live-stream paths. The optional Java/Dex compatibility layer requires compatible Android SDK, Emulator, system-image, and ADB components already installed on the Mac.

Installation

  1. Download OKVideoMac-0.3.41-macOS-arm64.dmg.
