Rewisp 0.20.0 — pause for 15 minutes, and video calls stay private
Three things from your launch feedback.
Pause for a set time. You asked for a way to stop Rewisp while working on something sensitive without having to remember to switch it back on. The Pause button now offers 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or an hour, and shows how long is left. Capture resumes by itself, and it stays correct even if you close the lid or restart in the meantime.
Video calls are ignored by default. Zoom, Teams, Webex, FaceTime and Discord now pause capture the same way Messages does. This protects the person on the other end as much as you: if a colleague shares a document on a call, that document was never theirs to have stored on your machine.
The nightly notification no longer shows your day. It used to include the first line of your recap, and macOS shows notification previews on the lock screen. Anyone walking past could read a summary of what you had been doing. It now just tells you the recap is ready.
Also corrected some wording about the Vault: it prompts for Touch ID when you open the tab, which is a lock on the tab rather than encryption of the files. Worth being precise about.
