4 M4×8mm button head screws Attach screen to the enclosure

0–1 Heatsink + fan (optional) Recommended for 24/7 operation on Pi 4. Bore out the screw holes on the heat sink with a 3 mm drill bit to convert them into clearance holes for the M2.5 screws. Waveshare

0–1 USB speaker (optional) For built-in ATC / hourly chime. See Hardware Assembly#Option-B-with-USB-speaker. Bluetooth is an alternative without a wired speaker.

Build options

  • Without USB speaker — base enclosure; optional Bluetooth audio later
  • With USB speaker — plug a compact USB audio speaker into the Pi before closing the case
