AwakeUtility helps you manage your MacBook power settings. It prevents your computer from sleeping during hours you choose. It also wakes your computer from sleep when tasks require attention. The app lives in your menu bar.
This tool works natively on Apple Silicon chips. It uses macOS power management systems to keep your work session active. You control when the system stays awake through a simple menu.

This application handles system power states locally. It does not send your data to external servers. It does not track your screen activity or your files. All settings live on your machine. The app requests only the permissions it needs to manage the power state of your hardware.
Sometimes, the app might not wake the computer as intended. Check these items if you face issues:
- Check your System Settings under Energy Saver. Ensure no other conflicting software manages your power.
- Confirm your MacBook is plugged into a power source if you plan to keep it awake for long periods.
- Restart the application if the menu bar icon disappears.
- Check the official releases page for updates. Updates often fix bugs related to new macOS versions.
If you have questions, browse the Issues tab on the repository page. You can search current issues to see if others found a fix. Use the "New Issue" button if you find a problem that no one else reported. Provide clear steps to reproduce your issue to help the developers fix the problem.
