Second beta of Diskette. Full internationalization plus two severe Copy/Move data-loss fixes found during a correctness audit.

Highlights

  • Internationalization: English, Ukrainian, Russian, and Dutch, switchable from Help > Language.
  • diskette --version: prints the build's version and exits.
  • Copy/Move correctness: fixed two data-loss bugs where copying or moving a directory onto itself or into its own subdirectory could destroy its contents; both are now refused or handled safely, backed by a full regression test suite.
  • Gutter Copy/Move buttons: fixed always treating the left pane as the source, even with the right pane focused and selected.
  • Rendering fixes: a stray cursor block left under a newly opened modal, unreadable dropdown-list contrast against a bright theme accent, and a FilePane Attr-column/scrollbar collision.

  • macOS: Diskette-v0.2.0-macOS.dmg (drag-to-Applications) or the raw .app zip. Unsigned — right-click → Open on first launch to bypass Gatekeeper.
  • Linux: diskette-v0.2.0-linux-{amd64,arm64} — see packaging/README.md for install.sh.
  • Windows: diskette-v0.2.0-windows-{amd64,386}.exe — plain executable, no installer yet.
