Lua installation now uses vfox native file, archive and HTTP capabilities, while preserving mise compatibility and optional LuaRocks installation.

  • Require vfox 1.0.12 or newer.
  • Correct readline detection, quote build paths and stop installation when compilation fails.
  • Improve Windows source builds and LuaBinaries executable aliases.
  • Clean LuaRocks build artifacts and incomplete installations; use a Lua 5.5-compatible fallback release.
  • Configure LuaRocks module search paths safely and point plugin updates at this repository's manifest.
  • Run real E2E installations against the latest vfox main commit, with Lua specifications executed through Busted.
  • Adopt the shared @v1 release workflow for package validation and manual publication.
