This version of AutoLogout asks for the parent to set a password the first time it is launched. All restrictions are off by default until you configure them in the control panel.

The user is able to pause the session at any time using the pause button. If they do, the screen is blanked, and audio is muted until they resume the session.

To install, create a shortcut to AutoLogout.exe in the user profile startup folder (a shortcut here can be found in the Resources folder).

Changes:

  • Rules and preferences are now stored offline. The rules, password, and current state of the app are different for each account.
  • Added a control panel dialog. Here, you can customise the time limit, daily time limit, wake time, and sleep time easily.
  • On first time start up, you will now be prompted for a password to protect the control panel. This password is stored securely.
