Runner 0.13.1 is a bug-fix release for macOS and Windows on top of 0.13.0.

New

  • Live mission feed. runner mission feed --follow now subscribes to events from Runner's background service, so updates arrive without polling. The feed's output and filters stay the same. (#821)

Bug fixes

  • Codex status hooks on Windows. Status events, including Interrupt, no longer start a new shell for each report. Runner delivers them through a bounded local connection to its background service. (#797)
  • Status after manual Codex compaction. When a completed or interrupted turn is compacted manually, Runner restores the previous idle status and keeps the correct conversation linked. (#797)

Download and upgrade

  • macOS, Apple Silicon: download Runner-0.13.1-arm64.dmg, or update through Sparkle. The app is signed and notarized.
  • Windows x64, Windows 10 version 1809 or later: download Runner-Setup-0.13.1.20261008.0133-x64.exe. The installer, app, and CLI sidecars are Authenticode-signed by Open Source Developer Yicheng Wang. You can also update through Settings → Updates → Update, then choose Install and restart. Settings, chats, and missions are retained.

Windows ARM64, Intel Macs, and Linux are not supported.
