Runner 0.16.1 is a feature release for macOS and Windows on top of 0.16.0.

New

Desktop notifications when an agent needs you. While Runner is in the background, it notifies you when a chat needs your input, finishes a turn, or fails. Clicking a notification takes you to that chat or mission, and Runner clears it once you look at the session. Choose which events notify you in the new Settings → Notifications pane: chat notifications are on by default, and mission notifications (a crew member asks you a question, needs your input or fails, or the whole mission goes idle) are off until you turn them on. On macOS, Runner asks for permission when it launches; banner style and sound stay in System Settings → Notifications → Runner. (#701, #891)
OpenCode v2 support. OpenCode joins the agents you can run in chats, roles and crews, with resume by exact session, its own model and effort choices, and Skills and MCP settings. Fork, usage and update controls are not available for OpenCode yet. (#876)
Newest first within a project. A new tab or mission created inside a project or in Recents now appears at the top of its list. Dragging still reorders, and existing rows keep their order. (#884, #892)
Direct's agent picker remembers what you use. The Start Chat picker lists recently started agents first and opens on the last one you started; the Settings default applies until you have started one. (#894)

Pasting a large image no longer disconnects Runner. Image paste now lets the agent read the clipboard itself instead of sending the image through Runner's background service, so a large image cannot drop the connection, and TIFF-only clipboard images paste too. Any other oversized request now fails on its own instead of disconnecting every pending call. (#877, #880)
MCP servers set up differently per agent are no longer flagged. Settings → MCP drops the amber warning for servers whose definitions differ between agents, such as per-agent arguments, and editing one agent's entry no longer turns on Also update for agents whose entry differs. (#895)

macOS, Apple Silicon: download Runner-0.16.1-arm64.dmg, or update through Sparkle. The app is signed and notarized.
Windows x64, Windows 10 version 1809 or later: download Runner-Setup-0.16.1.20261014.1019-x64.exe. The installer, app, and CLI sidecars are Authenticode-signed by Open Source Developer Yicheng Wang. You can also update through Settings → Updates → Update, then choose Install and restart. Settings, chats, and missions are retained.

Windows ARM64, Intel Macs, and Linux are not supported.

Direct 的智能体选择器会记住你的使用习惯。 Start Chat 选择器会把最近启动过的智能体排在前面，并默认选中你上次启动的那个；在你启动过任何智能体之前，仍使用 Settings 中的默认设置。 (#894)

粘贴大图片不再导致 Runner 断开连接。 粘贴图片时，现在由智能体直接读取剪贴板，不再经由 Runner 的后台服务传输图片，因此大图片不会再导致连接断开，仅含 TIFF 格式的剪贴板图片也可以粘贴。其他超大请求现在只会让该请求本身失败，不会断开所有待处理的调用。 (#877, #880)
不同智能体配置不同的 MCP 服务器不再被标记。 Settings → MCP 不再为各智能体定义不同的服务器（例如各智能体自己的参数）显示琥珀色警告；编辑某个智能体的条目时，也不再为定义不同的智能体默认开启 Also update。 (#895)
