Direct-chat split view (#245): a layout picker in the chat topbar splits the chat area into 2–3 panes — side-by-side, stacked, 1-big+2-stacked, columns, or rows.
Each pane is a self-contained chat with its own header, status dot, and focus ring; panes resize with a draggable divider, and terminals never remount when the layout changes.
Empty panes open the new-chat dialog with the current runner preselected, or fill from a sidebar click; Cmd+W closes the focused pane without stopping its session.
Cmd+[ / Cmd+] cycle pane focus while split; sidebar page navigation moved to Cmd+Shift+[ / Cmd+Shift+].
The split is a sticky chat group: it stays intact while you visit other chats, and the main window restores it across restarts with sessions stopped and resumable in their panes.
The sidebar highlights pane-open chats, with an accent bar on the focused pane's row.
Multi-window ownership is now tracked per visible pane, so a chat owned by another window overlays only its own pane.
