The mission feed is now a channel you can talk in. A composer sits under the feed: type and hit Enter to broadcast to every runner in the crew, or start with @ to open a roster picker and address one runner directly. Posts land in the timeline as ordinary channel messages and reach each runner's inbox at its next turn boundary — the same path runners already use to talk to each other, rather than a separate "reply to the human" mechanism. (#378)
Adding a project opens a proper dialog. The sidebar's + used to jump straight into a directory picker and create the project silently under the folder's name. It now opens a modal like starting a chat or a mission: the directory is prefilled from your configured default working directory, the name defaults to the folder's name and follows it as you browse until you edit the name yourself. (#383)
New installs ship with a Peer coding crew. A two-runner coder/reviewer crew, with prompts and team conventions filled in, is seeded on first launch so a fresh install has a working crew to start a mission with.
Fixes
Inbox delivery no longer interrupts you mid-keystroke. When a message is waiting and you have unsent text typed into a runner's input, delivery holds until you send it or press Ctrl-C. Terminal escape traffic — notably the color-query replies agent CLIs emit at startup — no longer counts as typing, which previously wedged the gate as phantom input and stalled delivery indefinitely. (#359)
Nudges sent while a mission is spawning are no longer dropped. Fresh mission sessions are registered before their PTYs come up, so deliveries wait in the outbox and land once the session is live.
A runner's own broadcast no longer lands in its own inbox.runner msg read now excludes messages the caller sent. runner msg post --to human also explains the channel instead of pointing at the terminal: broadcast by omitting --to.
