Runner v0.4.6
Runner 0.4.6 fixes two ways a terminal could come back looking wrong — after waking your Mac, and after relaunching the app.
Bug Fixes
- Glyphs no longer render jammed together after your Mac wakes. Characters were drawn at the wrong advance width, so
$ pnpm tauri devcame out closer to$pnpmtauridev— the text was correct, the spacing wasn't. The renderer caches each glyph as a rasterized image, and nothing on the wake path told it that cache had gone stale; the only thing that ever cleared it was changing your terminal font. Runner now clears it on the events that actually invalidate it: system wake, and moving the window to a display with a different backing scale. Wake is detected natively rather than inferred from window focus, so ordinary app-switching doesn't pay for it (#360). - Sessions restored at launch come back at the right width. With auto-resume enabled, a restored session forked its terminal at whatever size it had when you last quit — so if you resized the window, moved to another display, or the session returned into a split, its resume banner and first repaint were hard-wrapped at the old width. For Claude Code and Qoder, which keep their scrollback across a resume, those mis-wrapped lines were permanent. Runner now works out the width the session will actually be displayed at before starting it, and waits for the window to finish restoring first. A session with no remembered size no longer falls back to 80 columns when the real geometry is knowable (#363).
