What's new
- Typing that stays in sync with the TV. Open a search box on the TV and type in the remote: the phone's box shows what's already there, and typing, deleting and clearing follow on the TV as you go. No Send button needed when paired.
- Report an issue from Settings, with Skiff's version and your phone model filled in. The privacy policy is linked there too.

Download skiff-1.8.0.apk below; it installs over earlier versions and keeps your history. skiff-1.8.0.aab is the same build for Google Play.

What's new
- Connect card for a new TV. Pick a TV that isn't set up yet and Skiff shows Connect to right on the main screen: tap Show a code on the TV, type the code, done. No developer options needed. If the TV has USB debugging on and is asking to allow this phone, the card says so.
- Much smaller app. 12 MB → 2.6 MB, with crash reports that still point to the right line.
Since 1.4.0 (in 1.5.0)
- Works without USB debugging. Pair once with the code the TV shows, like the Google TV app. The remote, typing and shared links then work over pairing; IMDb titles open their page in Nuvio.
- USB debugging first, else pairing. With USB debugging, Open with lists the TV's apps and Nuvio goes straight to the streams. Settings can fix either way per TV.
- Settings: connection status for each TV, Activity (what was sent and how), and ADB tools (run a command, install an APK on the TV).
- Remote button sits beside Play.
- Crash reports and usage through Firebase, never what you watch. Turn them off in Settings → Privacy.
Install
Download skiff-1.6.0.apk below. It installs over 1.4.0 and 1.5.0 and keeps your history.
