X4 Easy Checker Beta 0.1 – English Edition

This is the first public English beta release of X4 Easy Checker, a local file preparation tool for XTEINK X4.

Main features

• Estimate TXT encoding, including UTF-8 and Shift_JIS / Windows-31J
• Preview TXT files and save a new UTF-8 copy
• Convert images to grayscale JPEG
• Resize images to 480×800 or 800×480
• Perform a basic EPUB file-header check
• Process all files locally inside the browser

Tested environment

• Windows 11
• Google Chrome
• Microsoft Edge

Important notes

• This is free beta software.
• Keep backups of all original files.
• The app does not upload files to an external server.
• EPUB checking is basic guidance only.
• This is an unofficial third-party tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by XTEINK.

Installation

1. Download X4-Easy-Checker-beta0.1-en.zip.
2. Right-click the ZIP file and select Extract All.
3. Open the extracted folder.
4. Double-click index.html.
5. Use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.

Do not run index.html directly from inside the ZIP preview.
