Fixes the first-run experience.
- Module icons are now compiled into the binary instead of resolved
through the system icon theme. They no longer depend on an install step
that silently fails, which previously left the dashboard
as a grid of broken-image placeholders. - Linux Mint and other derivatives are recognised via
ID_LIKErather
than an enumerated list, which had them reported as "unsupported distro". - The window background was transparent. With no saved theme there was no
theme class either, so the toolkit default showed through: white, with
green text on it.
New themes. Monero (orange on near-black) and terminal (amber
phosphor, square, with a left accent bar). Selectable in Settings →
Appearance.
New
59_wmbus— Wireless M-Bus (EN 13757) codec. Decodes meter frames from
hex; no radio needed.- WhisperPair (CVE-2025-36911) and zero-click HID injection
(CVE-2023-45866, CVE-2024-21306) in06_bt_attack. - The wpa_supplicant PEAP bypass (CVE-2023-52160) and wfa_dut root RCE
(CVE-2024-41992) in15_wifi_cve_scan— 24 CVE cases. - Four more mdk4 modes: EAPOL Start/Logoff, 802.11s mesh, CTS flood,
packet fuzzer.
Build
- Fixed a GCC 14 failure and missing build dependencies that blocked
compilation on current distros. - Two GUI startup crashes from the self-locating refactor.
- Eleven timer callbacks returned
voidwhereGSourceFuncrequires
gboolean, so those timers could fire once and stop at random.

New
59_wmbus— Wireless M-Bus (EN 13757) codec. Decodes utility meter
frames from hex: envelope, CRC-16, DIF/VIF readings. No radio needed.- Two offensive Bluetooth CVEs in
06_bt_attack: WhisperPair
(CVE-2025-36911) and zero-click HID injection (CVE-2023-45866,
CVE-2024-21306). - Two more CVEs in
15_wifi_cve_scan: the wpa_supplicant PEAP bypass
(CVE-2023-52160) and wfa_dut root RCE (CVE-2024-41992).
Now 24 CVE cases. - Four more mdk4 modes: EAPOL Start/Logoff, 802.11s mesh, CTS flood,
packet fuzzer. Nine of ten now driven.
Fixed
- GCC 14 build failure: an incompatible pointer type in the firmware
update page. This blocked the build outright on current distros. - Two GUI startup crashes from the self-locating refactor — a heap
corruption and a dangling toast pointer. Neither build started. - Eleven timer callbacks returned
voidwhereGSourceFuncrequires
gboolean, so those timers could fire once and stop at random. - Build dependencies were missing from the install instructions.
Changed
isp_patterns.tsvmoved frommodules/todata/.- Version read from a single
VERSIONfile by both interfaces. - Dashboard tiles gained a hover lift.
Verified from a clean extract. Build, CLI and module selftests all
pass on a fresh unpack.
