Support for faster forms of search

What are your thoughts on supporting faster forms of grep? What about cscope? I'm still in the process of comparing the options so I might be mistaken, but these look good and might be in line with the goals of your plugin.

Git-grep

I've somewhat heard about Ag, Ack, cscope, but didn't have chance to use them. Sack & Git-grep, I've not heard them. Anyway, if they can be helpful without unnecessary overlapping with existing functionalities, I would welcome integrating them.
Personally interested in cscope, but you know, time is not enough always.
If you suggest a proper form of integrating them, it would be great and we could discuss about it.
