Clip Library offers a tagging system to help you organize and quickly find your clips. This guide will walk you through the process of tagging clips and using tags to manage your library.
- Right-click on a clip in the main grid view.
- Select "Manage Tags" from the context menu.
- In the tag dropdown:
- Type a new tag name and click the '+' button to create it.
- Check the boxes next to existing tags to apply them.
- Uncheck boxes to remove tags.
- The "Private" tag is special. Clips with this tag are hidden from the main view.
- To see private clips, select "Private" from the filter dropdown in the top bar.
- Use the filter dropdown in the top bar to select a tag.
- The clip grid will update to show only clips with the selected tag.
- Select "All Clips" to see all non-private clips again.
- Click the settings button in the top right corner.
- Select "Manage Tags" from the settings menu.
- In the tag management window:
- Edit existing tags by changing the name.
- Delete tags using the "Delete" button.
Note: Deleting a global tag will remove it from all clips that had that tag.
Currently, Clip Library doesn't support bulk tagging. To tag multiple clips:
- Right-click each clip individually.
- Apply the same tag(s) to each.
- There's no limit to the number of tags you can create or apply to a clip.
- However, only the first three tags are visible on the clip thumbnail. Hover over "+X" to see additional tags.
- Use the filter dropdown in the top bar to select a tag.
- Use the search bar to search clips in that tag.
