Video error recovery is covered by component and save-queue tests; hardware decoder failure recovery and mixed-scale physical displays remain unverified. Scrolling capture remains unavailable on Wayland.

• Fix Linux startup failures caused by newer Leptonica libraries, including the case reported on Kali. Text recognition stays local.

Install the Linux package with sudo apt install ./kiri_1.6.30_amd64.deb so its required OCR components are installed automatically.

Kali startup and text recognition passed checks in an isolated environment. The reporter's VMware setup still needs confirmation.

Windows Server 2025 checks passed. The Windows 10 dual-display case reported in #152 still needs confirmation from the reporter. macOS desktop interaction checks were not run for this release; Wayland scrolling screenshots remain unavailable.

• Keep the correct captures and actions visible when switching between Library, Trash and search results. Report failed favorite, trash and restore actions, and prevent duplicate favorite requests.
• Preserve text corrections during refreshes and failed saves. Canceling input-method composition no longer closes OCR forms or discards the correction.
• Wait for image stickers to load before exporting or closing a video, including stickers added while a save is pending. Playback shortcuts now respect focused controls and dialogs.
• Keep failed tag edits available for retry, preserve keyboard focus in menus and dialogs, and distinguish missing microphones from the system default.

macOS desktop checks were deferred to avoid interrupting an active computer session. Unsaved text corrections are not retained after leaving Text History or closing the library. Previously reported Windows scrolling-capture startup and full video-copy/deletion workflows remain under investigation; Wayland scrolling screenshots remain unavailable.

• Show more specific scrolling-capture startup errors and retain the failed stage for troubleshooting on Windows.

The reported Windows scrolling-capture startup failure is still under investigation; better diagnostics do not establish that it is fixed. The full reported video-copy/deletion workflow also remains under investigation. Actual logout/login acceptance for startup remains unverified. Scrolling screenshots remain unavailable on Wayland.

• Fix a capture compatibility issue on macOS 14.

Scrolling screenshots support macOS, Windows and Linux X11; Wayland is not supported. Views need to overlap—after a large jump, scroll back through any missed content. See the usage guide for platform limits.

• Add dedicated Shortcuts settings for screenshots, recording, text recognition, and the main window, with custom keys, clearing, and default restoration.
• Support function, media, and other keys accepted by the operating system. Typing/navigation keys used alone or with only Shift ask for confirmation; failed changes preserve the previous shortcut.
• Add pause/resume and stop shortcuts that are active only while recording, and keep the recording controls from taking keyboard focus when shown.
• Show annotation shortcuts and let the toolbar and tool options move independently. Refine settings, recording controls, and annotation panels with more compact spacing and neutral backgrounds.

Wayland shortcuts remain desktop-managed. On macOS, playback media keys require Accessibility access; ordinary shortcuts do not require Input Monitoring. Automated and isolated desktop checks do not establish physical-device acceptance on every platform.

Update through Settings → About on macOS and installed Windows. Linux users can download and install the new .deb package.

• Preserve MOV containers during recovery and use the correct media type for playback.

Automated regression tests cover these fixes. Isolated desktop checks do not establish hardware-specific acceptance.
