• Redesigned the native management window with a dedicated sidebar, useful empty state, and a searchable window picker. Choosing a window preserves its exact identity; already-pinned windows cannot be accidentally toggled off from a stale picker row.
• Added labeled floating controls for Freeze, Resume, Reveal Source, and Unpin, with keyboard focus and clear live/frozen/source-closed states. Mirror pixels remain click-through, and removing a pin leaves its source window open.
• Added a native right-click menu and pin count to the menu bar, including per-window actions, settings, and direct quit. Busy and unavailable actions are disabled.
• Kept floating controls inside display bounds and selected the display using overlap and nearest-screen fallback, including negative screen coordinates. The management window opens on normal launch, while login-item launch stays quiet.

Installation and verification

• Requires macOS 14 or later. Fuwa-0.1.9.zip contains a universal Apple Silicon/Intel application. Existing users can use the signed in-app updater; manual downloads should replace Fuwa in Applications after quitting it.
• Uses Fuwa's maintained local signing identity. This package is not Apple Developer ID signed or notarized; macOS may require approval through Privacy & Security on first installation. Do not disable Gatekeeper.
• Strict builds, automated logic/state tests, English/Chinese offscreen native layouts, and signing/framework-loading checks passed. Native Apple Silicon checks covered window selection, live pinning, freeze/resume, source reveal, and exit with a pin. Actual secondary-display/Space behavior, Intel hardware, and a complete update-install cycle were not revalidated for this release. Cross-display geometry was tested with simulated arrangements; this is not physical multi-display acceptance.

Fuwa 0.1.8 gives the app a real Dock window and fills the Launchpad icon background.

• Clicking the Dock icon, or reopening Fuwa from Finder or Launchpad, shows the same Pins and Settings content in a regular window that can be closed or minimized without quitting. The menu bar popover is unchanged, and both entry points share one state.
• Fills the app icon's rounded-square background with the portrait's original white so Launchpad and the Dock no longer show a gray plate around the circular Fuwa portrait. The mascot, F clip, star accessory, and transparent corners are unchanged.

Install: macOS 14 or later; the ZIP contains both Apple silicon and Intel binaries. Verify it with the matching .sha256 file. Physical Intel Mac acceptance is still pending.

Signing: this package uses Fuwa's maintained local certificate, not Apple Developer ID signing or notarization. macOS may require its normal manual-open approval. Follow Apple's instructions; do not disable system security.

Validation: strict builds, logic tests, app-icon geometry, universal-architecture and signature checks, and actual Sparkle loading pass. The installed copy was checked for the filled icon background and Dock launch. Fuwa 0.1.7 fixes a launch-time Sparkle failure in the locally signed macOS app and improves pin recovery.

• Fixes startup when the local signing certificate has no Apple Team ID. Other Hardened Runtime protections and signed-update verification remain enabled.
• Fixes stale pin requests, premature eight-window limits, and losing a frozen frame when Resume fails before its first frame.
• Reduces unnecessary window-metadata work and removes compile-time framework files from the download while keeping all updater helpers.
• Fuwa is now maintained for macOS only. Historical Windows packages remain available in earlier Releases as unsupported archives.

Install: macOS 14 or later; the ZIP contains both Apple silicon and Intel binaries. If Fuwa 0.1.5 or 0.1.6 exits before showing its menu bar icon, install this ZIP manually. Verify it with the matching .sha256 file.

Signed updater metadata fix

Fuwa 0.1.6 keeps latest.json and all three signed appcasts strictly machine-readable. The protected generator now resolves annotated tags to their commit before writing one RFC 2822 publication date, rejects multiline or timezone-free dates, and requires Sparkle signed-feed metadata on every production feed.

This release supersedes v0.1.5, whose package signatures were valid but whose publication-date field contained annotated-tag text. Fuwa 0.1.5 users can update normally to 0.1.6; v0.1.4 and earlier need one manual installation of 0.1.5 or later.

Release evidence

• macOS universal archive: arm64 + x86_64, stable project-local code signature, no Apple Developer ID and no notarization.

Signed in-app updates

Fuwa now provides user-initiated, Ed25519-verified native updates on macOS, Windows x64, and Windows ARM64. macOS shows Fuwa-owned check, download, extraction, ready, and restart states. Windows uses the native WinSparkle flow and restarts Fuwa after the verified per-user installer finishes.

Versions 0.1.4 and earlier need one manual upgrade to 0.1.5. Later versions can update inside Fuwa.

• Builds the universal macOS executable with Swift's size optimization mode.
• Recompresses the generated ICNS losslessly while retaining every standard and Retina representation with pixel-identical output.
• Reduces the macOS zip from 2,434,969 to 2,074,940 bytes (14.8%) compared with the same-condition 0.1.3 baseline.
• Reduces the unpacked app from 3,388 to 2,940 KiB; the main binary is 8.0% smaller and the ICNS is 18.0% smaller.

Verification and distribution boundaries

• The macOS archive is universal (arm64 + x86_64), has Fuwa's stable local signature, and passed direct installation, launch, synthetic-window pinning, and quit/relaunch cleanup on macOS.
