What is new in v1.4.3

This patch fixes local OCR language detection on macOS.

OCR

  • macOS local OCR now lets Vision automatically detect any recognition language supported by the operating system.
  • Fixes Japanese recognition where kana-heavy lines could be skipped or truncated.
  • No manual OCR language setup is required on macOS.
  • Local OCR remains fully on-device. Windows behavior is unchanged and continues to use the first installed, supported OCR language from the user profile.

macOS packages are ad-hoc signed. On first launch, Control-click Kiri and choose Open, or use System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway.
