  • Adds fail-open PreCompact to SessionStart checkpoints with redacted local Git state and pointer-only reinjection.
  • Preserves Markdown as the default; structured state remains opt-in.
  • Hardens checkpoint timing and durability, MCP input and file bounds, setup path validation, and partial telemetry acknowledgements.
  • Includes the MIT license.
  • The machine-local state-v1 canary is intentionally excluded from the public package.

Operational follow-ups: post-push CI and the seven-day telemetry canary still need to complete. npm publish remains owner-controlled.
