The first release of HOWCUEME — a conditional self-wakeup daemon for AI agents, built for the BIT ecosystem.

What's included

5 condition types for when: interval (every N secs), daily (HH:MM local time, once per day with catch-up), file (exists / changed via mtime snapshot), http (status-code probe), process (exists / absent, via sysinfo)
3 action types: webhook (POST JSON payload), command (direct exec, no shell, cross-platform), wake_bit (POSTs {bit_url}/api/chat with Authorization: Bearer <client_key> to wake a BIT agent)
Per-rule cooldown_secs debounce and enabled switch
Persistent state (state.json): last trigger per rule + file mtime snapshots
CLI (howcueme): validate / run [--once] [--interval N] / list / fire <RULE_NAME> / serve [--host H] [--port P]; --json everywhere; piped stdin JSON merged over CLI args (BIT exec-mode contract)
HTTP API in serve mode (default 127.0.0.1:8752): GET /health, GET /rules, POST /invoke (BIT Remote protocol: status / list / fire / validate), with an internal polling loop
Rules in TOML (~/.howcueme/rules.toml, HOWCUEME_DATA_DIR override, -c flag)
CI on linux / macOS / windows; this release ships binaries for x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu, aarch64-apple-darwin and x86_64-pc-windows-msvc

Download the archive for your platform below, unpack, and put howcueme on your PATH. Checksums are produced by the CI workflow.
