Fixed

  • Before a new Music import, replaces pre-existing SC2AM source markers in all
    ID3 comments, including embedded markers and ASCII case variants, with one
    marker for the current track. Ordinary comment text is retained.
  • Resolves the active Music library before searching for tracks and prefers its
    saved track ID over conflicting comment markers. Repeat/resume and uncertain
    mutation safeguards remain in place.

Changed

  • Clarifies the supported CLI/MP3 workflow and project presentation. The optional
    clipboard entry point and source-preserving output formats remain deferred.

Existing Music entries are not retroactively cleaned. Native Music/provider
behavior was not newly tested; no reachable remote attack has been confirmed.

Installation / upgrade

Activate your SC2AM virtual environment, then run:

python -m pip install --upgrade "https://github.com/zFl4wless/sc2am/releases/download/v2.1.1/sc2am-2.1.1-py3-none-any.whl"
python -m pip check

Keep your configuration, downloads and .sc2am/history.sqlite3. Python 3.10+ and dependency minimums are unchanged.

Verification

549 tests and the format/lint/type checks pass. Both package formats passed fresh macOS installation and isolated CLI smoke checks. The runtime dependency audit found no known vulnerabilities. No new native Music, provider, cloud, iPhone or CarPlay acceptance was performed. SHA256SUMS.txt contains the published package checksums.
