About The Instructor

I have an accounting degree that I unfortunately never got to use to get a job in the industry. My grades were decent but I should have networked more. I consequently spent years in various blue collar jobs.

In May 2019 I signed up for Lambda School's data science and machine learning course. I dropped out in December 2020 because the pressure of job searching and juggling school was too much. I was selected to work as a teacher's assistant for 2 months before my contract expired. Beginning in October 2020 I volunteered with a homeschool group to teach kids how to program in Python and am still volunteering with them as of this date (May 2021). I realized I must be doing something right when the same kids keep attending, I'd like to think I'm keeping everything entertaining as well as informative. Ever had an academic teacher you could essentially fire, or say bye to? I do periodically conduct surveys so I can assign topics people like.

It's my belief that nearly anybody can program in Python, which is a great beginner programming language.

I'm not getting paid but if you want to compensate me you can buy affiliate link products I suggest. I may offer other services such as private tutoring. Please be respectful and I do listen to criticism. But being disrespectful will not be tolerated as I'm not twisting your arm to attend these free classes. I am only human at the end of the day, some people will not like me for various reasons such as teaching style, communication style, or that I dress business casual with a balaclava. I'm wearing a balaclava to remain private.

I promise to:

  • Make this course as informative and entertaining as possible.
  • Set everybody up so they can get employment in the technology sector.
  • Keep this a friendly learning environment where we can all grow.
  • Make sure I'm giving my 110% everyday. Unlike some university professors that already got your money in the form of tuition and don't care about teaching you can fire me at any time by leaving.
