Principle Based Top Down Learning

I am going to make my lessons as fun as possible, but please note I can't please everybody. I want people to start programming and not read useless theories like memory or parallel computing as a beginner. I may have brief 10 minute discussion styled sessions to contemplate how new technologies may affect our careers.

I believe these are essential skills to be a competent programmer (not just Python) and I'll help you develop them: Touch typing, knowing how to frame your questions on google, repetition (keep practicing), using keyboard shortcuts, working locally, working on teams, attention to detail, commonplacing (creating associative knowledge databases), and open source.
