Prebuilt, portable binaries for Windows, macOS, and Linux are now attached—no Python required. Drag-and-drop support makes it trivial to generate or merge highscores.

Highlights

Portable binaries:

  • rct-highscores: generate/merge highscores.dat
  • rct-progress: parse CSS0.DAT → CSV
    Drag-and-drop:
  • Drop a single CSS0.DAT onto rct-highscores → generates highscores.dat in your OpenRCT2 user folder
  • Drop CSS0.DAT + an existing highscores.dat together → merges and writes back to the provided highscores.dat

Drag-and-drop quick start (binaries)

  • Single file (generate)
    • Windows: %USERPROFILE%\Documents\OpenRCT2\highscores.dat
    • macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/OpenRCT2/highscores.dat
    • Linux: ~/.config/OpenRCT2/highscores.dat
  • Two files (merge)
    • Drop CSS0.DAT + highscores.dat together → merges into the dropped highscores.dat
Tip: Back up your existing highscores.dat before merging.
