First release of Releaso – Changelogs & Release Notes.

Show your plugins' release notes as a filterable timeline with the Changelog block or the [releaso] shortcode.

Sources: WordPress.org plugins, installed plugins, GitHub repositories (releases or changelog files), any readme.txt / CHANGELOG.md / JSON URL, pasted or uploaded files, and releases you write in the admin.

Highlights

  • Background sync (WP-Cron) with ETag / Last-Modified; pages never wait on the network
  • Product tabs, type filters, search, "show older" and links to every version
  • Custom change types, with their own colours and keywords
  • Per-block colours for each part of the changelog and every change type
  • Import / export (JSON, Markdown, readme.txt), REST API, WP-CLI and theme-overridable templates

Install: download releaso.zip below, then go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.

Requires WordPress 6.5+ and PHP 7.4+.
