Android 0.6.7-rc.3, built on the validation Mac Mini from main 5832145b72cb7083a16a5684d635704faac0fdd4.

Changes since RC 2:

  • Replace the bundled terminal font with Iosevka Term, including the missing ⏵⏵ symbols. Use one fixed App Default across devices; keep custom fonts with the bundled fallback and system fallback for Chinese. (#458)
  • Clarify desktop setup navigation, center desktop Settings, and distinguish Offdesk App pairing from browser sign-in with one QR purpose shown at a time. (#457)

Offdesk RC is an isolated test app (dev.offdesk.desktop.validation). This ARM64 APK uses versionCode 6010 and the same RC signing identity as RC 2, so it can upgrade the previous RC. It can coexist with the stable app. New RC installations require their own pairing.

To test the bundled frontend, open an encrypted connection. Ordinary Hub URLs load that Hub's frontend; those screens require the corresponding Hub update. This release only provides the Android APK, not a Hub or macOS installation update.

Please check:

  1. Settings reports 0.6.7-rc.3 and frontend android-0.6.7-rc.3-5832145 on an encrypted connection.
  2. With Terminal Font set to App Default, ⏵⏵ auto mode on displays without missing-glyph boxes. Check arrows, terminal borders, Chinese punctuation, and text alignment.
  3. Existing pairing survives the upgrade; cold start and returning from the background work.
  4. Enter, arrows, and Tab do not reopen a dismissed keyboard; paste and file uploads still work.

Validation: main CI passed, including container-based E2E. The built APK passed Mac Mini Android emulator cold start, WebView input, foreground return, reinstall with retained connection files, and damaged-pairing recovery. Its signature, version, package identity, and download checksum were verified. Physical-device acceptance remains for testers.
