KOReader integration plugin

I discovered that keyboards connected via BT thanks to your great project don't work in KOReader. Based upon externalkeyboard.koplugin, I created this little plugin. It adds Settings -> Network -> "HID Passthrough" to start-stop the daemon, and also adds input device management logic (inspired by externalkeyboard) to make attached keyboards usable in KOReader. Sometimes after device hibernation, integration stops working, but cycling daemon off/on through the menu usually helps. I don't have a Classic BT keyboard to test, but my BLE ones seem to work fine this way, both for text input and for turning pages.

Your timing on this is immaculate for me - I just received a folding portable bluetooth keyboard today that I mainly got for my phone, but naturally I was curious if I could get it to work with my jailbroken Kindle as well. Google took me to this repo, which in turn led me to this.

Sure enough, it works - I opened my "notebook" file in the file browser and was able to type into it just fine!

One thing I might suggest (unless it's already there and I overlooked it) is the ability to add toggling the daemon to a quckmenu. I have a quickmenu tied to my bottom right corner tap gesture that has my commonly used commands like toggling the frontlight and opening my Favorites, so an option for it there would be excellent since you mentioned the daemon may need to be restarted after KOReader sleeps.

Thanks for flagging this @alllexx88! I've proposed the fix upstream to KOReader:

• feat: Kindle: add uevent listener for input device hotplug koreader/koreader-base#2327
• feat: ExternalKeyboard: allow plugin to load on Kindle koreader/koreader#15248

Tested and working on my PW4. Once merged, keyboards should just work in KOReader without a separate plugin. That said, I wouldn't mind also shipping your plugin as a workaround for existing KOReader versions. Let's wait and see what the KOReader maintainers say.

These PRs look great @zampierilucas! Once they're merged, you could ship a plugin to just start/stop the daemon from KOReader directly, for convenience sake. It's easy to remove the uevent related parts and leave just the toggle 🙂
