The first Baron release published from CI over npm trusted publishing (OIDC), with provenance on every package. It also opens the new MCP Registry listing, io.github.zanaat-dev/baron.

Fixed

  • Resuming a recipe run (baron run --resume, baron_recipe_run { resume }) had two defects (#255):
    • An optional question left empty came back as null and failed the next step's argument check (#251).
    • Reads were replayed from the journal, so a task-land stopped by pending checks kept seeing "pending" on every resume (#252). Reads made after the last completed write now run again. Earlier reads stay replayed, so no write is repeated.
