Doc Works 1.0

Open and edit Word documents, PowerPoint decks and Excel workbooks inside Obsidian, with editors modelled on Google Docs, Slides and Sheets. Everything runs locally: no account, no network.

One look across all three editors

• Same menu bar (File, Edit, View, Insert, Format, Tools, Help) and same toolbar order everywhere.
• Toolbar dropdowns and menus are native Obsidian menus, with icons.
• Paint format and Clear formatting sit side by side in every editor; Sheets now has Clear formatting.
• Same tooltips and shortcuts: Ctrl+K link, Ctrl+Alt+M comment, Ctrl+Shift+7 / 8 lists.
• Help › Keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl+/) lists every shortcut for the current editor, with search.

Documents

• Insert › Chart: native Word charts (bar, column, line, pie) with a data and style editor. Double-click a chart to edit it.

Presentations
