Portable Windows Edition

1. Download OxNetLab-Portable-v1.2.2-win-x64.zip
2. Extract the ZIP (keep _internal next to OxNetLab.exe)
3. Run OxNetLab.exe

No installation. No Python or Node.js on the target PC.

Security / runtime

• Local-first: SQLite and logs under %LOCALAPPDATA%\OxNetLab\
• Backend binds to 127.0.0.1
• Portable Monitor Mode is read-only; mutating HTTP methods return 403 (MONITOR_MODE)
• OpenAPI /docs is disabled in the frozen build

Requirements

• Windows 10/11 (64-bit)
• Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime (not bundled; present on Windows 11 and most Windows 10 installs)

Known limitations

• The executable is not Authenticode-signed. Windows SmartScreen may warn on first run.
• WebView2 Runtime is required.
• CPU/GPU temperature is omitted unless the OS already exposes it (no extra drivers).
• Per-volume disk read/write rates are not mapped on Windows (PhysicalDrive* vs drive letters); host-level disk I/O is shown.
