Pre-Alpha. This section describes behavior that may change.
This is the configuration section. Read Overview first if you have not edited a Ze config before. Everything else here can be reached out of order.
- Overview. How config works in Ze: YANG-modeled, atomic commits, draft sessions per user, hot reload.
- YANG Model. Where the schemas live, how paths map, and what the validators enforce.
- Editor Workflow. Edit, diff, commit, rollback, and commit confirmed.
- Archive and Rollback. Revisions, archive destinations, manual and scheduled archives.
- System. Host identity, users, SSH, listeners, logging, DNS.
- Interfaces. Netlink-driven interface management, addressing, DHCP, bridges, mirroring.
-
FIB. The
bgp-rib->sysrib->fib-kernelpipeline and best-path selection. - RPKI. RTR cache servers, VRP validation, fail-open timeouts.
- Fleet. Multi-instance management over TLS.
- Telemetry. Prometheus metrics endpoint.
- Authorization. Profile-based command authorization.
- BGP. Peers, families, capabilities, and the rest of the BGP subtree.
