This release focuses on improving the workflow for preparing codebase context for LLMs, making file selection smarter and easier.

✨ New Features

  • Auto .gitignore Integration: DirPrint now automatically reads your .gitignore file and hides ignored files (like __pycache__, venv, node_modules) by default. No more cluttered output!
  • Glob Pattern Support: We've upgraded the pattern matching engine. You can now use standard shell wildcards (e.g., *.log, test_*.py, src/**/*.ts) in both -I (ignore) and -O (omit) arguments
  • New Flag: Added --no-gitignore flag if you want to explicitly bypass the automatic gitignore behavior.
