v0.3.0: a vpn that stays up and uses less battery

A VPN that stays up, and sips the battery
- The phone no longer switches servers while you pause to read
- Frozen connections are noticed and replaced: WARP, XHTTP, ZeroV1
- Fewer wake-ups when idle, a smaller core
- Gone from the release: the x86_64 Android build, the macOS app and Zray Core for macOS
The switching came from a rule that called the tunnel stalled after half a minute of quiet while apps held connections open, so reading a page was enough. Now a stall means your apps sent for ten seconds and not one byte came back. Freezes were connections that stopped forwarding without closing, which hung everything on them until TCP gave up, around fifteen minutes. WARP, XHTTP and ZeroV1 now ping their connections and replace one that stops answering, and every outgoing TCP connection gives up after thirty seconds without an acknowledgement. Battery: the WARP check sleeps until the next ping is due instead of ticking every second, the WireGuard timers slow down when the tunnel is quiet, and the phone's monitor wakes every five seconds with the screen off and nothing moving. The core is about three percent smaller, and the universal APK about a third smaller now that it no longer carries x86_64. The macOS app no longer updates itself, as there is no macOS build to update from. Not tried on a phone yet.
اون سوئیچ کردن از قانونی میومد که بعد از نیم دقیقه سکوت، وقتی اپ ها کانکشن باز نگه داشتن، تونل رو گیر کرده حساب میکرد ، پس خوندن یه صفحه کافی بود . حالا گیر کردن یعنی اپ ها ده ثانیه چیزی فرستادن و یک بایت هم برنگشته . قطعی ها کانکشن هایی بودن که بدون بسته شدن از رد کردن ترافیک وایمیستادن و همه چیز روشون آویزون میشد تا TCP تسلیم بشه ، حدود پونزده دقیقه . WARP و XHTTP و ZeroV1 حالا کانکشن هاشون رو پینگ میکنن و اگه یکی جواب نداد عوضش میکنن ، و هر کانکشن TCP خروجی بعد از سی ثانیه بدون تایید ول میکنه . باتری : چک WARP تا پینگ بعدی میخوابه و هر ثانیه بیدار نمیشه ، تایمر های WireGuard وقتی تونل ساکته کند میشن ، و مانیتور گوشی وقتی صفحه خاموشه و چیزی رد نمیشه هر پنج ثانیه بیدار میشه . هسته حدود سه درصد کوچیک تر شد و APK یونیورسال حدود یک سوم کوچیک تر ، چون دیگه x86_64 توش نیست . اپ مک دیگه خودش رو آپدیت نمیکنه چون بیلد مکی برای آپدیت وجود نداره . هنوز روی گوشی امتحان نشده .

v0.2.9: warp that leaves from germany and keeps trying
WARP that leaves from Germany, and doesn't give up
- WARP inside WARP, now the default way to connect
- HTTP/2 WARP no longer abandoned after one hiccup
- Faster servers reported first, more Iranian config lists
WARP inside WARP runs a second WARP device inside the MASQUE tunnel, so sites see an exit in Germany instead of Iran. In our measurements it was as fast as plain WARP or faster: 0.18 to 0.24 s per request and 4 to 8 Mbit/s. The phone tries it first and falls back to the usual ways if it fails; the desktop app picks it when nothing is selected. Accounts made before this version exit in Iran: run the WARP setup once more to get the new kind. HTTP/2 WARP used to be dropped for 15 minutes after a single drop, leaving only WireGuard and HTTP/3, which don't get out of Iran; now a route that fails only goes to the back of the line. Not tried on a phone yet.
WARP توی WARP یه دستگاه دوم WARP رو داخل تونل MASQUE اجرا میکنه ، پس سایت ها خروجی رو آلمان میبینن نه ایران . توی اندازه گیری ها مثل WARP معمولی سریع بود یا سریع تر : 0.18 تا 0.24 ثانیه برای هر درخواست و 4 تا 8 مگابیت . گوشی اول اینو امتحان میکنه و اگه نشد میره سراغ روش های همیشگی ؛ اپ دسکتاپ هم وقتی چیزی انتخاب نشده همینو برمیداره . اکانت هایی که قبل از این نسخه ساخته شدن از ایران خارج میشن : یه بار دیگه راه اندازی WARP رو بزنید تا نوع جدید رو بگیرید . WARP روی HTTP/2 قبلا با یه قطعی کوچیک 15 دقیقه کنار گذاشته میشد و فقط WireGuard و HTTP/3 میموندن که از ایران رد نمیشن ؛ حالا روشی که خراب بشه فقط میره ته صف . هنوز روی گوشی امتحان نشده .

v0.2.8: connections that start faster and a decoy for more phones
Connections that start faster and a decoy for more phones
- XHTTP reuses its open connections
- Name hiding on phones without MD5
- A few fixes and the missing translations
Connection reuse puts a new connection through the tunnel on an XHTTP link that is already open, so most connections skip the handshakes: Settings → Anti-censorship → Reuse connections (Off, Auto, On) on the phone, XHTTP Connection Reuse under Advanced on the desktop. Auto tries it next to the usual way and keeps whichever answers faster, and a server whose reused links stall goes back to its own links for 10 minutes by itself. Decoy reach lets a phone whose system cannot stop the decoy name any other way send it with a short hop limit (4 to 12 routers), and Auto tries that as a server of its own. Tested on a computer and through real Zray servers, not yet on a phone or against a real server from Iran.
استفاده دوباره از کانکشن ها یه کانکشن جدید رو از روی یه لینک XHTTP که از قبل بازه رد میکنه ، پس بیشتر کانکشن ها دست دادن رو رد میکنن : توی گوشی تنظیمات ← ضد سانسور ← استفاده دوباره از اتصال ها (خاموش ، خودکار ، روشن) ، توی دسکتاپ XHTTP Connection Reuse زیر Advanced . حالت خودکار کنار روش معمول امتحانش میکنه و هر کدوم سریع تر جواب بده رو نگه میداره ، و سروری که لینک های دوباره استفاده شده اش گیر کنن خودش ۱۰ دقیقه برمیگرده به لینک های جدا . برد اسم جعلی به گوشی ای که راه دیگه ای برای نگه داشتن اسم جعلی نداره اجازه میده اون رو با یه محدودیت هاپ کوتاه بفرسته (۴ تا ۱۲ روتر) ، و حالت خودکار اون رو مثل یه سرور جدا امتحان میکنه . روی کامپیوتر و با سرورهای واقعی Zray تست شده ، هنوز روی گوشی یا با یه سرور واقعی از ایران نه .

v0.2.7: quicker name hiding and your own routing
Quicker name hiding and your own routing
- Faster connects with name hiding on
- Your own routing rules
- Search several lists at once
- Fits small screens better
Name hiding set to always used to slow every connection by about a third of a second. Now the quick way goes first and the slower one is kept for the servers that need it. Routing profiles let you send sites, addresses or apps through the tunnel, straight out, or block them: Settings → Split tunnelling on the phone, Settings → Network on the desktop. The server list now also gathers configs from GitHub, tested before they reach you. Not yet tried on a real phone.
پنهان کردن اسم سرور وقتی روی همیشه بود هر اتصال رو حدود یک سوم ثانیه کند میکرد ، الان اول راه سریع امتحان میشه و راه کندتر فقط برای سرورهایی که لازمش دارن میمونه . با پروفایل های مسیریابی میتونی سایت ها ، آدرس ها یا برنامه ها رو از تونل بفرستی ، مستقیم بفرستی یا ببندی : توی گوشی تنظیمات ← Split tunnelling ، توی دسکتاپ تنظیمات ← Network . لیست سرورها حالا از گیت هاب هم کانفیگ جمع میکنه که قبلش تست شدن . هنوز روی گوشی واقعی امتحان نشده .

ZeroNet v0.2.6: SNI SPOOFING
SNI SPOOFING
- SNI spoofing without root
- A setting and a test button for it on Android
- Auto mode uses it when a server is blocked by name
- New protocol: zerov1://
SNI spoofing hides the server name from a filter that reads it, on a normal phone. On Android it is under Settings → Anti-censorship → "Hide the server name (SNI)", with a button that tests it on your own phone and network. In Auto it turns on by itself when a connection is cut off by its name. From Tehran on 7 October 2026 blocked sites loaded through it; that is one line on one evening, and filtering changes.
zerov1:// is a protocol of our own: zray zerov1 init sets up the server side and gives a page with the link and a QR code. It has not run on a real server yet.
SNI SPOOFING اسم سرور رو از فیلتری که اون رو میخونه پنهان میکنه ، روی یه گوشی معمولی و بدون روت . توی اندروید زیر تنظیمات ← ضد سانسور ← «پنهان کردن نام سرور (SNI)» هست ، با یه دکمه که روی گوشی و شبکه خودت امتحانش میکنه . توی حالت خودکار وقتی یه اتصال به خاطر اسمش قطع میشه خودش روشن میشه . پروتکل جدید zerov1:// هم اضافه شده که هنوز روی سرور واقعی اجرا نشده .

Not sure which Linux file? Run uname -m in a terminal: x86_64 → x64, aarch64 → ARM64. "exec format error" means the other one.
The other files are for the in-app updater and for experts: the bare programs, .tar.gz archives, and smaller Android APKs for one processor type (arm64-v8a fits almost every modern phone).
مطمئن نیستید کدام فایل لینوکس؟ در ترمینال uname -m را بزنید: x86_64 یعنی x64 و aarch64 یعنی ARM64. خطای «exec format error» یعنی باید آن یکی را بگیرید. برای اندروید اگر مطمئن نیستید، universal را نصب کنید.
