Breaking change: hyper-loop removed

The ralph-style unattended plan-iteration loop has been removed entirely.

Removed:

  • /hyperclaude:hyper-loop and /hyperclaude:hyper-loop-cancel commands
  • UserPromptExpansion (intake) and Stop hooks
  • .hyperclaude/loops/ state file lifecycle

Why: it was orthogonal to hyperclaude's design invariant (Claude builds, Codex reviews — hyper-loop never touched Codex) and owned the heaviest machinery in the repo for marginal value over running /hyperclaude:hyper-implement directly.

Migration

  • For plan execution, run /hyperclaude:hyper-implement directly — same task-by-task discipline with spec + quality reviews, just without unattended auto-continuation.
  • Stale .hyperclaude/loops/ directories in consumer projects can be deleted; nothing reads them anymore.

Also in this release

  • Plugin collapses from 4 layers to 3 (Skills, Agents, Hooks); commands/ directory removed. hooks.json is now SessionStart-only.
  • Docs, smoke checks, and the Code | Docs mapping updated to match.

Verification: 232/232 unit tests, smoke 40/0, Codex code-review clean.
